I really should be more active on here.
Anyway, I'm feeling particularly crafty as of late, however I have no idea what to make/I don't have ANY money at the moment to buy materials with which is make things. Predicament. My main project is going to have to wait until August when I should (in theory) have enough money to buy a shit-ton of wonderflex. Because that stuff is amazing. And I need a ton of it. Secretive project, anyone?
Also, since I am moneyless, I'm going to be taking commissions for props and costumes...since I can. Not that anyone ever actually commissions me (expect for those few times when people did), but hey (Like h

Sorry about the sudden influx of photos. I've been like...unable to sleep so I've been just sitting here, finally going through pictures from friggin' APRIL and posting them. I can officially say that I'm an award winning cosplayer.
A few years ago, I got second place in a cosplay contest around Halloween, and although I won a pretty sweet gift card, it's not the same as winning an award in the cosplay showcase at a convention.
Which we did.
Holy shit.

Our Tsubasa group won the Judge's Choice award at Kawaii Kon this past weekend, and I'm so insanely honored and thrilled (and shocked? Maybe?) that we did because HOLY CRAP I SPENT FOREVER ON THOSE DAMN COSTUMES. Hey Gw33t3r, can I get a suggestion from you? I'm looking to design a set of whips that are mounted to the inside of the forearms. They're going to be designed to look like tendrils coming from inside the arms. Anyways do you have any recommendations on what to use for the whip material? I thought about using plastic chain, its got to be durable as it will be a prop for a video.

Depending on the weight that you need for it, I think that tubing that was really big in hair pieces for cybergoth stuff would work. Which, fun fact, they sell with floral arrangement stuff at craft stores. It's lightweight, but it holds its shape really well. But I'm not sure if that's the type of whip you were looking for.
