Before I get any flames from people who think I'm going to hell for making this, understand that it's a joke.

Friedrich Nietzsche was a nineteenth century philosopher and philologist. He is most quoted for saying that "God is dead" in both The Gay Science and Thus Spoke Zarathustra, though people often reference it in the former.

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?

I'm just quoting here.

Then, as a joke, we get the second part of the stamp: "Nietzsche is dead." Because hey, he is.

It became a joke in my political science seminar last year, and we all thought it was funny, so I made a stamp. I am in no way saying that religion is bad or that there is no God. People are allowed to believe what they want to, and I believe that this is funny.

So yes. Now that I've rambled, enjoy the stamp.

Ahhh stamps in the journals! Alright, well, you need to buy a subscription on dA in order to have a stamp in your journal. *sniff* I used to have one until a few days ago, but it ran out and I've got no more money.
But if you get a subscription, what you do is you take the thumbnail (which is :thumb########: (the actual numbers are in the little box with the details and such in the deviant comments)) and then you copy and paste that into your journal. But you need a subscription ;_;
